When Ned was RB, he was often criticised for his play. Because he's a CB.

Hughes is versatile like Ned. But he is a CB too and that's where he played as N.I. captain. It's not his fault where he's told to play. Do your homework guys before slagging players off.

Why do some of us love to **** players off? and use such insulting and unfair phrasing too about people they probably have never met? I have only one thing to say "Oh Bobby Zamora"

Yea & he's been sh!t too. Hopefully another on the released list.

Will go down in Rangers folklore for that goal but one swallow a summer doth not make. On big money & either injured or useless. That goal he scored has paid back all of his contract but it's now time to say Auf Widersehn. No time for sentiment & it's not sl@gging anyone off it's cold hard truth.

Without doubt Hughes was played out of position at RB when he's a far more accomplished Centre Half.

That being said, he wasn't good enough to get in an awful Fulham defence last season so definately not good enough for us this one coming.

Doesnt offer enough to be back-up in the PL, which was proved at Fulham.

Good luck to him but if we want to be an established PL side we need better players in the squad.
