Ings over Rhodes. Rhodes isn't to agile or fast, Charlie seems to have put on weight or bulked up ever since he joined us meaning he seems alot slower than when he was at Burnley! So i'd have Ings to play off Austin.

I prefer ings as a player but in truth I'd be happy with either.

            Proven...???

Remind me how many top flight games he's played exactly. Proven lower league strikers don't always do well in the top flight so for the money they'd want he isn't worth it. The fact he's being spoken about at the same price as a French international is ludicrous in itself.

Ings will not be for sale, so what will Rhodes price be?

Will Harry even be looking at these two players?

If anything id be disapointed if we didn't use the Remy money for Rhodes. Class act
                  Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                  And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I'd be disappointed if we did. Selling remy and replacing him with rhodes (for nearly the same money) is a massive drop in class. One is going to the world cup with france, the other struggles to get in the scotland team!

Have to agree and can Rhodes score as many goals as Remy?

Ings over Rhodes but wouldn't mind either. Rhodes and Austin could play together, Austin is more than a goal poacher. Don't think we will pay the money for Rhodes and Burnley will never let him join us. Deeney would be a good option and getable. Will cost around 4-5 million. Read in the paper Everton want him aswell.

In the prem? who knows, he's never had the chance but to pay the amounts people are quoting is ridiculous. IMO no, he will struggle to get double figures....... we need a striker with genuine pace to play with Austin. Austin and Rhodes would be a seriously immobile front line

Rhodes, hes a goal machine. Scored through the leagues just knows where to be. Ings we wont get imo.

...but Remy doesn't want to play for QPR....what could you buy of Remy's class for that money.....not much imo.So it would have to be the likes of Rhodes.

We got to be realistic - Remy was always a shirt term thing! Was a hell of a coup to get him and if we'd had stayed up I'm sure he would of stayed with us this uear and moved on. We got relegated and couldn't of expected a talent like him to stay.

We are a Newley promoted club again and the likes of Rhodes are the level of player we should be looking at right now. They likes of Remy are for the big boys.
