    Charlie Austin

I personally rate this chap as 'ONE' of the best strikers to put on the famous Blue and White hoops shirts.

24, scores bags of goals and POTENTIALLY could get a call up to England next season if he can continue his form in the Prem.

Our last England International was Sir Les right? So it would be even more perfect if Charlie managed this.

Big player, with a huge opportunity to take QPR to another level by firstly securing Prem security but who knows a decent Cup run.

We cannot sell this guy just yet, he could truly become a legend at this club. I would love it if he managed to score more than 100 goals for us.

Im a big fan of loyal and long serving players. He could be our man!!

    Thoughts?

Hopefully he makes the big step up.

All goalscorers can put the ball in the net if the service is right though no matter the level.

Thats the difference, Charlie scores out of nothing... Always a good sign for a striker.

Going to need to invest in the people behind charlie. wingers need to improve as does the backfour. we need pace and strength to not sit too deep and isolate charlie.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
        Lovejoy: "No?!"

proven scorers are had to come by and Charlie is going to score goals at any level

would love him to play for us for his whole career but unfortunately reality tells me, that if he scorers regularly for us in the PL, then bigger fish will come knocking on the door

          not being negative but realistic!!

Top striker...love the lad and confident he will make the step up. Hes scored a lot of goals of scrap this year so if we buy 2 or 3 players who can actually pick a decent ball or a decent cross charlie will bang them in.
As a matter of priority we should be sitting down with charlie this summer and renegotiating his contract. ONly has 2 years left. Lets give him another 2 or 3 so we safe guard our investmenr in him either way but we must extend his current deal.

Totally understand that he may go. Totally understand it is all 'IFs'

But I was only really saying that we havent had a top striker like this lad for a long time.

Personally I dont want to over invest.

Strikers and CBs are our main problem.

We need two new decent strikers (Unless we somehow keep Remy) and a 2 Decent center halves that can cope with faster/younger strikers of the Prem.

Another winger which can play on either flank would be ideal.

We have a good basis to work from and a team spirit now which will go a long old way. Too many changes again will ruin us.. lets not do that again!!

I think darlin charlie will be amongst the top 5 scorers next season. If we can get a few players to supply more balls to him the he will be in the top 3 scorers

I think midfield attach and defence all need to be improved which is natural. Can't underestimate how important it is to get creative midfielders /wingers in or we just won't score enough this year. We need a little more imagination.

I'd say strikers and midfield most important area as 2 decent CBS and we could prob get away this year in that position.

i would like to see a Austin + Remy line up. wonder if it will happen.
think that strike force would get 20 goals a piece given the right service etc.

Quality finisher, but needs to work on his first touch and control or Prem CB's will eat him alive

Superb player and really like him, but he missed that chance at wembley that you really need to score in the highest league or big matches, and bobby was only on for a little while and buried his.
Say what you like about Bobby but hes always been a first class striker and has proved it, charlie has to prove himself, and its no easy task. Lets hope he can become a great this season.
