Pay as you play deal like Dunne was offered. If he doesnt like it then he's done enough recently for clubs to think he'll do a job for them.

Always had time for Bobby. Last 2-3 months has been great option off bench and changed games. His style of play gives us something different.

Just wish for both him and us he had been fitter for his time with us. Based in Brighton and remember the young Bobby. Was a great all round striker. We are just now seeing that albeit without the young legs!

I have to admit I have given Bobby Z a lot of stick in the past, in fairness though, in the past he was playing very bad. But since January he has got himself properly fit and when he has played he has played very well and often changed games in our favour. He made himself a hero on Saturday, and deserves another year...

absolutely, he deserves a 1 year deal (on reduced terms with bonuses) just as a reward for his contribution against Wigan and Derby. If it wasn't for him, next season QPR would be playing against Brentford, Millwall and Charlton instead of Chelsea, Arsenal & Spurs.

It's thinking like that that enabled El Hadj Diouf to have a highly paid career on the back of one goal.

Let's get some perspective on this, his recent decent performances have been as a late sub against tiring championship defenders and when we have played two up front. On Saturday until his goal he was pretty poor and didn't really get hold of the ball which he was put onto to do. Pointless giving him another year, even as a sub he would struggle against even tiring prem defenders, lot better options out there for far less money.

If we feel we can find 3 better strikers to accompany Austin in the squad next season without breaking the bank then we should definitely let Bobby go. If we do not have the funds to bring 3 more strikers, Bobby is fit enough to play a significant part next season and is prepared to take a drop in salary (preferably in some part pay-as-you play) then we should offer him a 1 year extension.

To be fair none of us on here know what's gone on behind the scenes. Perhaps Bobby's representatives have already priced him out of a deal for us and he's seeking 1 last pay day elsewhere in the Premier League. After his winning goal at Wembley a decent agent will be able to wangle him top-flight money somewhere no doubt!
