    Wembley memories...

When we lost to Oxford in the Milk Cup as was I lived South of the River and was so upset the bus driver took one look at me with my hat, scarf, flag etc and said.."no bus fare charge for this journey today son, you have had enough!" I was only 16 so Saturday win would be good.

    Phishing on the terraces !
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

...yeah and we were absolutely flying in the run up to that final... lots of 3-0, 4-0 wins and oxford couldn't buy a goal for love nor money.

        typical, typical qpr...

That was my first QPR match and I was so confident as was everyone! We had beaten Oxford 5-0 in the league just previous to the cup! In football as in life, you must move on, I'll be rocking my Milk Cup scarf on friday and looking forward to a better 2nd Wembley experience!

Nah - we drew 3-3 at the Manor Ground. Even Flasher Walker scored. Had nightmarish visions that Smith was actually gonna play him. In hindsight, he couldn't have done any worse.

I stand corrected, we had beaten Chelsea 6-0 and Leicester 4-1! Needless to say we were in quite good form leading up to the Cup Final, then it all went so wrong!

Geez, I just washed it, it looks like new almost, maybe because I don't ever wear it! I'm not really superstitious but maybe you lads are right, it may bring some negative vibes, I'll leave it tucked away in my dresser for another 28 years!
