    Atmosphere?

This is not a negative thread just an observation. A LOT of wembley games I have watched have seemed to suffer from a lack of atmosphere (even playoff finals) - hope ours doesn't suffer the same fate.

The reasons why this occurs are fairy clear IMO, and could potentially affect us.

    - fans spread out over a huge area with no core/vocal group like you might have at a home game.
    - huge ticket allocation means lots of families coming, in which where one or two people go regularly but the whole family comes for the day out.
    - widespread seating which is usually adhered to.
    - huge distance from the pitch.

Lets hope everyone gets behind the team! Looking forward to my conversation with the first person to sell me to sit down

Went to England V Poland and the Poles created a superb atmosphere and they stood up the whole game ! So fingers crossed we will generate some good noise.

I was at that england match and only time have had real atmosphere at Wembley. We need to replicate the Wigan match, with 40k people that will be amazing.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I will be standing ALL 90 Minutes singing my heart out. I would love someone to tell me to stop. "These sunday once a year supporters" can learn what real support is

This is where some of my family are going to be. They would probably want to sit too (which is why I am not going to be in the same block)

Top tiers I would expect to sit. Anyone buying a ticket behind the goal - 110,111,112,113 etc would expect to be in a livelier section I would hope.

Everyone will be seated apart from lower tier I suspect.

Regarding the atmosphere, it's hard to create. It'll be **** poor to be honest due a number of reasons. I hope I'm wrong but 3k at Wigan is a bit different than 40k spread out at Wembley.

I am top tier, but near the back (all I could get, as I bought tickets for family, like a hero) but I plan on standing.

the argument of standing up sitting down has occurred so many times recently.. Used to stand up every game, no matter what age before seating came in

OP makes a very good point. Hard to get the atmosphere going for all those reasons.

I think EVERYBODY standing would help.

Not sure how we can make sure all areas are singing and behind the team but it would be amazing if we can.
