They said on Sky yesterday, at the Spurs game that Joe Cole., Paulo Ferriera and Yuri Zhirkov "will play against QPR in midweek".

Probably added to the likes of Hilario, Ivanovic, Sturridge, Kalou, Alex, etc...

I will care on the night, but for me... 6 points from Cardiff and Barnsley is far more important.

If we have a right go at Chelsea, and make a good game of it, I'll be happy.
Last year at Man Utd we didn't even seem to realise that we were allowed to attack them until they scored.... when we did, they wobbled, and had to bring Vidic on to hold on.
Far too defensive, and way too much respect showed to them, and I found that dissapointing on the night.


Just go there and have a proper go at them. No pressure, and no shame even if we lose 4-2.

Chelsea will have a load of kids out and a smattering of fringe players like Hilario, Ferreira, Di Santo, Sturridge etc...

Be very surprised to see anyone like Alex, Carvalho, Ballack or Ivanovic play. Saying that, Chelsea take the Carling Cup more seriously than most so you never know.

I think i would prefer their first team to play, as the reserves will have more to show. The first team would prob feel that they do not need to try and get complacent. Reserve players will want to impress to get in that fierst team

as long as we dont get a good tonking a dont care about the chelsea game...more worried about getting 3 points on Saturday and one of our better players picking up an injury against Chel**** on Wednesday would be a joke cos its a nothing game. Maybe we should be playing our reserves and getting a few players match fit??
