That's been my point all along. the club have a good idea who the real fans are as we have been buying tickets from them for years, ST membership and match day tickets as well as QPR player. they even send us e-mails and used to post things out to us.They have a database so know who's bought tickets in the past. They could've allowed people on that to buy tickets instead of general sale if they'd thoguht about it for 5 minutes, rather than just allowing ST holders and members another option to buy additional tickets in phase 4. It's ridiculous.Comment

QPR player subscribers would've been a good option for a phase 4 as generally it's fans who live further afield etc who are less likely to be able to get to games and therefore dont bother buying ST or memberships..... are they any less a fan though, obviously not. And the argument about should've bought a membership etc and support the club, well the QPR player sub costs more than a membership.Comment

I know 3 season ticket holders who won't be purchasing any more... Not everyone will be buying more.. Stop panickingComment

The problem is though mate, even if they wanted to, there is no guarantee that they could. In theory, could all be sold out after the first phase of members have got theirs.Comment

I`m not an ST holder or member and think it`s a very fair way of doing things.
I`d hate them just to go straight on general sale and buy the 3 I need and know ST`s/members could miss out.
They are there every week no matter what so should get first dibs IMO.
Iv`e said in another post that i`ll wait and hope I can get my tickets, if theyre sold out then i`ll cross that bridge as and when but i`ll be safe in the knowledge that the ST`s/members have got theirs.Comment

Nobody thinks they should go straight on general sale and jeopardise the chance for ST and members to get tickets, but most would think the option of 2 tickets each would be more than sufficient. There's no reason they should need to allow the option of 4 per person, as is the reality..I`m not an ST holder or member and think it`s a very fair way of doing things.

I understand what you are saying but what about people who want to take Kids, Parents, Brothers, Sisters, Mates, Partner, The fit next door neighbour?Nobody thinks they should go straight on general sale and jeopardise the chance for ST and members to get tickets, but most would think the option of 2 tickets each would be more than sufficient. I guess it`s a no win situation, but seems a fair one for me.
As said I will be trying to buy 3 and that`s just me and 2 of the kids.
The club should look at whose bought tickets in the past or even signed up to the club email/newsletter and give those people a (special)day to buy before general sale. (just a thought)Comment

Club can't win.
If we only allow one per season ticket one one per member then we may not sell our full allocation, and then
We would have people on here calling us a two bob club with no fans.
Do it this way and encourage people to bring long lost fans and the club are out of order.
Maybe some of these so called glory hunters may decide to come next season if they enjoy their day out.Comment
