If you do it online Victoria, you will have to add the client ref number you're getting from a friend to your son's membership account in the fans network section. Once you've done this, you can just assign the ticket and the tickets will be posted to your son's address.

I got 2 on day one. When I logged in on day two, I was notified that I couldn't purchase more only reassign. Yesterday when returning from work logged in and they allowed me to purchase, so I did. I only needed 1 ticket yesterday which I got.
My only take on this is ST can buy during phase 2 (yesterday) and I presume the same applies today.
I don't know whether it all ST holders or those that bought a supper hoopy membership thingy with their ST, I went through my online history and I for some bizarre reason did purchase it for £15 on top of my ST back in July 2013, I don't know if that allowed me to purchase during phase 2 & 3.
Best thing to do is log on and just try to buy, it's at the checkout stage whether you know your successful
