Great news about Cole not going, all the old guard are proven failures at the World Cup. About time Roy had the balls to bomb the likes of him, Terry, Lampard, etc. Hope Frank don't go! Still don't think we will get out the group, but it is exciting times again as a Englishman with some quality youngsters coming through.

I know what you mean Robbo but of the old guard Cole is prob the only one that always performs to his max and cannot be tarred with the same brush as the others. I still think hes the best Left Back in the country and after not getting a game for months at Chelsea he came back in for three of Chelsea' biggest games of the Season Liverpool away and Athleticox2 and looked like he had never been away

I think Roy has made an error here and would suggest now most goals against this world cup come from Englands left
