This time last season every focker expected us to go down or be in a relegation battle. And if not that, somehow produce a miracle by scraping a mid table place.... We're THIRD!!!... worst case scenario is that we stay in this $hit hole of a division, just like most would have prayed for at the end of last season....

I think you'll find a lot of people said at the beginning of the season, with the squad he'd been allowed to assemble and an embarrassment of riches over any other Championship club, we should at the very worst make the playoffs. Any decent manager would've taken this squad up automatically. So Harry's achieved the minimum expectation.... brilliant. It follows his efforts to take us backwards last season.

To be honest, the only good spell this season was with McLaren taking training. He left we capitulated pretty much. If he hadn't have been here at all we wouldn't be making the playoffs.

If Harry was as good as he's made out to be by the press, he needn't of even bought McLaren in in the first place. i thought that was why he has Kevin "clueless, all thats missing is an exclamation mark on top of my head" Bond. and just as clueless Joe Jordan. Considering the debacle of our relgation season and the mainly poor dealings in the transfer market I was expecting a tough mid-table season . Our squad is old and slow. We had a chance to play some of our youngsters this season amd f..ked it up.

Harry should have got shot of Zamora and AJ - you know they'll be injured. Keep Taarabt, all this "he didnt want to play in this league" is nonsense. We decide what he does. Tell him if he gets us promoted he can go on a free to any club he likes, everyone's a winner.

you can paper over the cracks as much as you want with all this b ollox about if we had our squad together we'd be 2nd or 1st. no one knows that for sure. even with the players we've had on a more regular basis SHOULD be playing a lot better than we are given their supposed talents. we are only really still 3rd because of the incompetence of the other teams below us not taking advantage. i think at the end of the day we are LUCKY on the whole to still be in 3rd place........Pal.

Im not really sure what your getting at. I agree with everything.... yes we should be playing a lot better and yes we're still only 3rd because the teams below aren't taking advantage... but IMO if Austin, Phillips, Simpson, Traore, Onuoha and Barton plus Morrison had all stayed fit for the whole season we would not be sitting 3rd.
