Didn't get the benefit of replays on the stream i was watching but the second booking did seem a very soft one in real time.

I was quite surprised too, was expecting to see him and Beausejour start for them.
Gomez is a good player and wouldn't mind him signing for us. Fact is, if the boot was on the other foot, and our player went down like that, and their player got sent off, no one would be complaining. Fact.

Wouldn't go that far. Deserved the first yellow for kicking the ball away, so can't really argue with that, but the second was terrible.

In general, last night wasn't a dirty game. It felt a bit like a game of two different referees thou. The first half he seemed to let pretty much everything go. There was about 6 or 7 persistent fouls by the Wigan right back and right midfielder, yet nothing. Then in the second half Morrison was getting hacked to pieces and the scum lad also kicked Morrison off the ball to which the referee then looked as thou he was waiting to book Morrison and did so for a nothing foul.
