Funny that was my first thought Kevin Phillips. Some have expressed their concerns and rightly so. He's certainly not the long term solution but definitely could be a short term one.

Think some have forgotten that we have been moaning the last 6 weeks about having no back up striker other then Austin.

It prob wont happen but we need a striker and one who has a decent pedigree has just become available!! would be crazy not to enquire even if it ended up going no where.
