IMO,
I think everything would had been rosy if they had done it right in the first place.
When de canio, vine & buzsaky arrived at W12 it breathed fresh air into the club (people were excited). Then when de canio left and dowie arrived that was when the rot set in... since then it has been manager after manager, very high prices and maybe not the right choice of playing staff...
Lets say for example, Sven Ericsson was appointed in summer, it would had given everyone such a lift including the fans, then you would had seen a different side altogether as sven would had recommened the players needed for promotion... That was what people expected and it would had brought people back as there would had been more sense of ambition.
To be appointed with Jim Magilton (who took Ipswich down from the play offs) was less inspiring than Dowie for many people (including me).... and to spend that money on a midfield player (£3.5m) and not buy a forward was basically something you couldn't make up.....
Thats why people are fed up with it, they had the opportunity in the summer to put this right but they didn't and now, even when we draw people get really disappointed.
I can see both sides to the coin, but my family and I (who were shareholders) have been treated very badly, we had a much more raw deal than most of you complaining about season tickets!
So I don't really think people want Flavio and the mittals to leave its just they are more frustrated that they can't get it right and this season looks over before its begun...

This is the thing that some are missing and why it annoys me that some others have branded fans like myself and you as 'shameful moaners' because that's not even close to a fair branding. We have become a club who came from the brink of non-existance to one with a guarenteed future and the promise of better things. Sure, the squad has improved hugely, but who's hasn't? Out problem is that we've the the wrong people make the decissions and also had the wrong managers appointed. 99% of the fans can see this to be the case and we're not for one minute being ungreatful, but very concerned as to the way we're progressing. We have the funds in place to grow faster than any club in this league and if we do it the right way, we'll most certainly do that. 300 midfielders, a decent defence and no goal scorer is not the correct way. This should be obvious to all of us, yet some want to put their own spin on things by stating the obvious and making it sound better than it is.Your mum would love me...

There's been a lot of talk of how much FB has put into the club. We will only know for sure when the next accounts are published, which are a year behind. I would tend to side with the assumption that he's only spending ours and sponsors money. And I certainly don't take anything for gospel that comes out of that liar's mouth.

It will sort itself out one way or another
I don't agree with Pete's take on the Mittals, I have no idea if they are interested in taking on a bigger role or not but if they were then I dont think any "negativity" would effect them.
if there was a take over it would be relatively easy to make positive moves that would win the majority of fans over in fairly quick fashion and they would get good publicity not bad, the mittals have thier own access to sponsors so would not be too badly effected if Gulf Air pulled a strop and for lotto it doesnt matter, the more exposure the better.
a fair bit of the post feels a bit like scaremongering to me a bit like the way the club tried to sell early bird season tickets this season.its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

could you please confirm if it is opinion, based on anything or if it is fact? you have not answered that yet and i think it is key to aloowing people to build there own opinions not gonna knock you either way as it isnt key to the article but its key to what I take from it
cheers in advance

mmm . ones things for sure Flav doesnt give a toss about a few feral messageboard junkies like us, can you imagine him, hang on Naomi, just gotta keep up with the boards.
Pete i hope for your sake you are talking fact, to construct a piece like that purely from ur own opinion would be , well, sad to say the least !

I cannot go into details for obvious reasons, but what I have written is opinion, based on what I know.
I'm sorry it comes across as factual, but today I read that "talk of Mittals taking over". Thats simply not true.
I think we all agree none of us are negative towards Amit or Lakeshmi, but we must remember they are here because of Flavio, not to oust him or take full control. No disputing Amit loves the club, but it won't be enough to take over full control. Personally, it is an irrevelant argument as I think Flavio is here for some time yet. Just, hope the sponsors don't want to distance themselves from the recent allegations. I also hope that Bernie and Amit stay on board as well. We will just have to wait and see if someone from the outside is interested.
Some are trying to muster up an argument this is defending Flavio, its not. I'm just stating how things are.ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Sorry, but they are adding 2+2 and making 5...
peteg, I'm not scaremongering, because I actually think we are in a win/win situation whatever happens. Stay, and maybe Flavio focuses more on getting us up, Go and the fact he would not take a loss on a potential sale also bodes well.ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.
