Ferdinand's limited number of appearances last season was more down to Moyes not picking him - not injury. He was available for most games.

You are right about one thing. Redknapp doesn't give a crap about money. And look at the number of clubs he's left behind in the s*** because of it.

Rio I'm not 100% sold on. He only made 14 appearances last season due to injury. 70k a week is an awful lot of money to risk on someone who only played 1 in 3 games last season.
Read Redknapps book, then make a new opinion on leave clubs in the sh1t.

In addition, im not sure where you or anyone gets exact figures of 70k from, probably the daily mail cos you seem to like that sh1t
Makes me laugh, were ruled by the media and people like you take whatever the papers say as gospel

you start sniffing around the daily mail for facts and figures then you aint got a clue fella

HR didn't let us down last season with the signing of Dunne who played 41 games.. and im guessing HR has more experience and knowledge about getting a team together then everyone put together on this forum. I don't care about his wages for a year. HR and co have said it weren't about money, with committed owners on top of that, that's enough for me. His a cracking player and will be great for team spirit and fight.

Stop reading articles about Portsmouth financial situation and what happened to them.. its a good signing. Pipedown, cheer up and look forward to the season.

Jesus. Making the same mistakes yet again. At this point if we go into admin it'll be well and truly our own fault.
We are taking the word of the daily mail now are we?

Pretty much exactly me sentiments. Same happened with Portsmouth when they were signing the likes of Defoe and Campell and Muntari on huge wages. Everyone got swept up in the excitement of signing "big" players and didn't care about what the long term repercussions would be. I just pray to god we stay up this coming season...

What I'm saying I suppose is that we'll never really know what the figure is, we would like it to be low and journalists and fans of other clubs would like it to be astronomical. The truth will be left behind as usual.
