Agree with that. By upfront I mean attacking wise. Playing one up front means that the midfield and the wide players ( the wing backs, at least one of the middle two and the two free floating players for the first twenty- twenty five- mins) have to pitch in, create chances, and get into the box. But none of them can do that. Jenas scored from outside the box, but that single move showed what you need to do. Doyle isn't going to score many. But for one up front he doesn't hold the ball up as he should. And we're back to where you and I started..... There are no goals in the team. Not just the various wretches- bar Charlie- who play upfront.

Yeah I agree with what you say but you take a look at what Doyle had to feed on, f u c k all. I watched him harry, chase, try to link up play and beg for a decent ball to be crossed into the box. Quite a hapless task I am sure you will agree

He does ok. Can't see what keane brings to us. For me hoillet is our biggest problem. 9 times out of 10 he runs into defenders and then goes down seeking fouls, he more often than not gives it away when trying to pass. SWP although not great must be wondering how bad hoillet has to get before he gets a game.it too often breaks down around junior.

Kevin Doyle is a typical QPR striker. Old and inept to score. Just like Bobby Z, Andy, Cisse, DJ Campbell, and on, and on. I miss Jamie Mackie's hustle. I miss Remy's class. I miss Tom Hitchcock :((((((((
Tom Hitchcock's goal total in 10 games-5 Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora's goal Totals since joining the club (47 games)- 8. Tom Hitchcock's Age-21 Will Keane's Age-21. Will Keane's goal total in 7 games-0. WHY ISNT TOM HITCHCOCK PLAYING FOR US

Jimmy i wonder whether the lad is a natural goalscorer....may not be as accomplished as an all round player but knows how to find the net.....gotta be better than what we are fielding...#firepowerofadampfirework

Makes me wonder why we got rid of mackie. Was never the answer to goals but with austin he'd do a great job in this division. Tbf to the lad the service to him has been poor. Got him 4 years too late.

Exactly. Far from the finished article but him or Keane / Maiga up front? No brainer for me.

Bush I wasn't a fan of Mackies football. In fact I hated it but I said on here & I'll say it again once we were relegated he should of been retained. Good in this division. Not PL.
