No way has he improved us...

We play the ball more sideways and backwards than ever before.
His built on the signings Hughes made by making more signings, even if they are all loans.
Ever since he took over we slipped further down the prem, since November.
He has no idea what style he wants to play now he has a couple of injuries.

The only thing he improved us with was our defence but even that's shipping goals left, right and centre now.

Went for a quick fix but sadly broke it some more. Next season a new manager rebuilding us in the championship will probably keep one of Caesar/ Green, Simpson, Barton, Phillips and Austin with a question mark over Hoillet. The other 35 or so cd probably be cleared out, returned to their parent club or in the case of the better players such as Remy and Adel sold.

Come the end of the season it'll either be 'I told you so' or 'fair play to Harry, he got us up'.

I accept that some fans have already laid down and died, or come over all French waving their white flags, but some are hopeful or optimistic we can still go up.

I want my team to win football matches, and that's why I'll cheer the boys on till the end. Got no time for the surrender monkeys who have thrown in the towel with 48 points still to play for. Some of you should be ashamed of yourselves.

not sure that result makes much difference to be honest. If we can start selecting a consistent team, get some confidence and results come then others results are irrelevant.

think you misread the mood. don't think too many are angry. more a bit weary and resigned that yet again so much promise has not been fulfilled and that so many avoidable mistakes have cost us. i like tony, don't mind harry and am relieved we haven't imploded and done a wolves this season. but i can't remember feeling as indifferent as now (and for the record, like most on here, I have been a supporter for a fair few years...).

Agree with stainy, nothing wrong with airing justifiable and reasonable concerns/criticisms of current manager/playing style/transfer policy or anything else that crops up.
Remember posters getting lambasted for supporting NW when MH took over, the hughsies were citing new dawn, premiership experience, training ground swabs....in support of his arrival and those that supported NW were old QPR ..dinasaurs.
Then transfers were applauded without question, heretics were chastised for pointing out that Bosingwa is actually rubbish, no off with your head he played for Chelsea and was champions league...Get rid of Hill cried the hughsies
MH was going to take us to the promised land and we must fully support him, eh until we fully support HR and all his transfers

Yes in the way ,weve got rid of a lot of dead wood like Bosingwa and we have (or maybe had ) a real feeling of team spirit again .
No in the style of football we play , and the fact we have so many loan players and oldies ,that we will have to rebuild no matter what happens at the end of the season.

Ultimately the negatives outway the positives ,for me, regarding Redknapp .

Burnley who are 2nd right have far less resources than us have a manager who has the players he has and does a fantastic job with what he had and has them playing a very offensive way.

He has indeed succeeded in stabilizing the team, but only temporarily, so a lot rides on our promotion bid.

If we do get promoted this season and HR is replaced, HR will at least have left the team in a better position than when he took over. If we fail to secure promotion this season, ultimately HR would be leaving us worse off.
