Regardless of what league we will play because we will get rid of Zamora, Johnson, SWP, Mbia, Park, Jenas, etc. and have them off the wage bill to bring better players.

yes, good thread. we will be a much changed squad next season. also the contracts for furlin, dunne, young,benhioun, green, (green is on 40 big ones and i think we could sign just as good a keeper for half those wages)will expire and hopfully wont be renewed.

time for a fresh start and blooding some youngsters like harriman, ehlma, sutherland who i think are very capable for the championship and also donaldson.


fresh start is needed and wanted in my view.

You really rate that sutherland dont ya hitman, you mention him all the time. I know his dad Graham (Suvvie) and i will tell him hes rated for you.

he is very good from what i have seen Mc! done very well in pre season and bagged a goal or too. gutted he was not given the chance by harry.

you tell him to keep plugging away mate. those are the players who have the hunger and desire to do well and is what we need.

Unfortunately Sutherland has done his cruciate knee ligaments so won't be seeing him for a while. Would love to see him, Ehmer, Hitchcock and Petrasso in the squads!

Whilst I see the point Yousef is making I don't think we should write off this season just yet! Our last 2 performances and results have been awful and I have been as frustrated and annoyed with Harry's apparent inept tactical awareness.

Morrisson will make a massive difference - good or bad who knows!!

I hope Harry will see what we all see ( me anyway )and make the following changes

1. Drop BAE and possibly Niko although we may need him for charlton as Joey is out

2. Back 4 of Onuha, Hughes, Hill, Dunne

3. Revert to 5 in midfield including Morrisson

4. Recall Henry as Barton is suspended

5. Where I am undecided is who to play as the lone striker - Whilst Doyle has scored 2 in 3, he doesn't seen able to hold the ball up and keeps falling over. Maiga apparently doesn't like playing as the lone striker. Keanes goal record is poor. Zamora I would ditch now. Johnson can't play alone ...... Thoughts?

6. Benayoun and oneill are so light weight - having said that so is Carroll but at least he had potential
