Id love to know why people would have keane or maiga as the loan man rather than doyle. Maiga hasnt been bad, keane was shocking against reading (zamora did more when he came on), but doyle has 2 goals in 3 games and for me should start.

Id love to know why people would have keane or maiga as the loan man rather than doyle. Maiga hasnt been bad, keane was shocking against reading (zamora did more when he came on), but doyle has 2 goals in 3 games and for me should start.

Not that i would start Maiga but he has 1 goal in 2 sub appearances whereas doyle has 2 in 3 starts so your justification for doyle starting because of his goals record is slightly flawed plus Maiga hasnt really been given a chance to prove himself (2 sub apps) whereas Doyle has had 3 starts and apart from his 2 goals hasnt really contributed much. Also to judge keane based on the last game and subsequently zamoras performance is pretty harsh, seeing as zamora came on immediately after reading went 3-1 up so we were bound to attack for the rest of the game and the majority of zamora's time on the pitch was spent playing against 10 men. I think keane is going to be the surprise package for us .................or maybe even dellatorre!!

I agree, the squad has lacked balance right from the start but there was a major overhaul to be done after relegation so it's not surprising!

A back four of Hughes Dunne onuha and Hill looks solid to me - BAE needs to be dropped IMO
