It is your right to believe what you want.
Just don't continue stating said information as it is outdated.
Park's contract with QPR expires in 2015, and QPR can bring him back or sell him next season.Last edited by Joon; 19-02-2014, 01:44 AM.Comment

He's hardly ripping it up over in Holland and looked finished last season in the prem. No reason for him to be here anymore. That contract-extension story is probably rubbish, although it's been reported on 'credible' korean media it would have been reported at least somewhere over here if it was true."When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0Comment

Park didn't "get" that contract extension, TF asked for it in exchange for letting Park go on loan to PSV and Park agreed to it.
On TF's part, it made every sense in the world because he would be able to sell Park at a better price after a year, or opt to use him if he was in good form.Comment

I will continue stating official sources all i ****** like thank you, especially if there has been nothing reported since by the club.
You keep saying it likes it fact but nothing credible apart from the SK propaganda machine to back it up.Comment

Yes, makes every sense to keep a has been on 50 large a week for another year when we could be well rid of him.Park didn't "get" that contract extension, TF asked for it in exchange for letting Park go on loan to PSV and Park agreed to it.

Will be following other donkeys such as Zamora and Kranjcar out the door.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.Comment

Ok then, what about this quote from Parks Dad...Park didn't "get" that contract extension, TF asked for it in exchange for letting Park go on loan to PSV and Park agreed to it.

Asia's most decorated player may call it quits after his two-year contract with the relegation-threatened side expires in 2014, despite calls for a K-League swansong
QPR midfielder Park Ji-Sung could retire after the 2013-2014 Premier League Season, father Sung-Jong has claimed.
The former South Korea captain has struggled since leaving Manchester United last summer, and may step down after the conclusion of his current contract in what will have been a career lasting 14 years.
"My son has had difficult times at QPR this season; it was a new experience to him," the elder Park said in an interview with Sports Chosun. "He's never had times like this with PSV Eindhoven or Manchester United.
"Nobody knows the future; maybe he could play one more year with a new team after next season. But I think [Ji-Sung] has made his mind up to retire."
Park, who turned 32 last month, began his career with Japan's Kyoto Sanga just months after making his national team debut.
After winning the 2002 Emperor's Cup with Sanga, he captured two Eredivisie titles with PSV before a trophy-laden seven years with Manchester United that included four Premier League wins and the 2008 Uefa Champions League crown.
Yet despite being one of Asia's most popular footballers, Sung-Jong denied that his son would return for a victory lap in his native country before hanging up his boots.
"He won't play in the K-League," he elaborated. "He wants Korean football to be popular but he wouldn't be able to perform well.
"He thinks he's played enough."Comment

More misinformation, I see. Park agreed to a huge pay cut to accommodate PSV's pay-cap and thus QPR is paying almost nothing to Park at the moment.
All TF needs to do to avoid paying Park's wages is letting him stay on loan at PSV next season, as they doubtless want to keep him if they can.
As for TF, since Park has been doing well at PSV this season, he can ask PSV for a decent price, or sell Park elsewhere, or bring him back. Makes perfect business sense, contrary to your claims.Comment

How eloquent and logical you are. SK propaganda about Park's contract status with QPR? What a laugh.Comment

If you look at the article you just quoted there, that is before the PSV loan deal was put on paper. The contract extension happened just before the PSV loan was finalized, and thus Park's retirement plans were postponed to summer 2015. I've posted about this on the Loan Rangers thread if you are curious.Ok then, what about this quote from Parks Dad...

Would make absolutely no sense whatsoever and would be a massive gamble.
Park will be 33/34 with no sell on value whatsoever.
A years contract extension at 50k minimum a week = £2.6 million for the year in wages.
Who in their right mind is gonna pay more than half a mil for Park at this stage?
If we cant get shot then the club are committed to paying out that ridiculous amount. The potential small fee for selling is far outweighed by the danger of having to pay him that amount over the course of the year.
He will be gone.Comment

Frankly, I don't think it's a matter of Park being "given another chance". I think it's more of what is best for the club that should be important.
As a fan of Park, I wouldn't mind him retiring at PSV. However, I personally think that he could prove useful to QPR next season if we get promoted, especially since he has regained his form this season at PSV.
Park's return to form does not necessarily mean that he can continue his good form at QPR next season, and for all I know, he may not be the right player for HR (or other manager's) plans next season, in which case we should sell or loan him off over the summer. Whatever the result, I would be satisfied with it.
However, it should be clear that Park is QPR's asset until summer 2015, and there is no sense in ignoring that fact. He is in good form, and can be used, or sold. That's good for QPR.Comment

I see you have more of an imagination than I do, and still enjoy marking your territory.
