    Sadly 442 exposes us...

We didn't leak when we played 5 in the mid..

We stick the extra player up top like most of us pleaded for and the weaknesses of Dunne and Hill are exposed... 6 goals in 2 games... Difference is the extra mid I'm afraid

Completely agree, after the Burnley match I was worried when we were setting up in that formation again, I'm not sure if we have anyone who can play as the lone forward though! Our plan now is to hoof long balls to the 2 forwards, I wonder if all the people who were moaning about our boring 1 nil wins feel the same way now?

Exactly. The funny thing is Redknapp was saying in his interviews a few months ago about how no team plays with 4-4-2 anymore and how it's out of date, but now he's got us playing in a 4-4-2 formation. The man clearly doesn't believe in his ideas or he simply hasn't got any

Agree and to make the problem worse we play Niko in the middle of the park who is not a CM so its like having three in the middle of the park

Same ones will be slating harry for not playing five in the midfield. Rightly so too, but the hypocrisy is there.

It's not the formation that's at fault, it's the players.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

With Charlie Austin out for the rest of the season, which system to play, either pack the midfield with one up front, or traditional 4-4-2, doesn't matter.
We don't have the players for either, and even when Charlie was fit and working like a carthorse on his own up front.
We go back to 5-5-1 again, and we have no option but to play either Zamora, or young Keane.
We have no pace, too many over 30s, and no goals in us. We can begin to write this season's obituary soon, methinks.

And thoughts go back to transfer deadline day and whether tony really wanted us up this season or didn't trust Harry with millions at his disposal..
