Give Kranjcar a free role

We don't seem to have much creativity at the minute so I would like to see HR stick Henry and Barton CM and tell Kranjcar to play where the f ack he likes so long as he is causing Reading problems.

Well surely its better not to have him playing as a 2 in CM as he has been then.

At least if he is not given any responsibility defending wise, he will save his energy for when we have the ball

I actually like all the tippy tappy stuff, all the time we've got the ball they cant play and score. Plus it looks pretty....

Buuut I also like the idea of Krankjar/Morrison having this free role. Like you said it would definitely cause Reading problems.

With regards Nick's comments on liking the tippy tappy if it comes off great but when he's trying flicks and back heals on the edge of the box when it would make more sense to have a shot or put someone in with the easy ball it does start to become a bit frustrating

I couldn't agree more West about doing flicks etc on the edge of the box. There's definitely a time and place for that kind of stuff and in your area is not one of them. Im more of an old school type and believe you should just get the ball out to one of your own players ASAP. But when we're playing that type of football in the right areas IMO we look quite comfortable.

I think Kranjcar could play in centre midfield with Barton, providing Ned plays behind him. Ned is capable of playing a little further up when we're attacking and has the pace to recover if we're counter-attacked.

Your right Nick he does hold onto the ball well and get it immediately under control but there are just times where he in the box and your thinking belt it but he does a trick which does not come off

I wouldn't give Kranjcar a sausage roll at the moment, he's been a massive flop for us so far.

I would only put him on for the last 20 mins he is not fit enough I hope Harry puts hoilett on from the start and hope he plays the full 90 mins without getting injured

Would be happy to see this although can't imagine Harry would be the sort to let him do that. We do need someone to provide a spark though and Kranjcar is looking like one of the few that could.
