Serious question re Remy

Before anyone has a pop at me - I know there I another thread but my point is different

Does anyone know if we do have to rely on the play offs and given the premiership season will be over - would remy be able to play in any of the games given that technically he will be our player again

Anyone know coz I don't ?

Don't quote me on it but I'm 99% sure that's the case mem

Only short term loans haev an exact expiry date.

It's not possible for him to do that, but I'd be very, very unhappy seeing some supposed superstar who couldn't be ar sed to play for us all season in the championship swan in to play for us in the championship play off...... I think everyone brought in last season ought be sold. In Remy's case for as big a profit as possible.

Surely however if you agree to cancel the loan the player returns and is available as hes registered to the club. Use Adel as an example had he not gone Milan and had stayed he would have been available for selection

A player whose standard loan expires (or terminates) on completion of his loaning clubs league will not be eligible to play for his parent club in any remaining league matches in that season not withstanding the fact that such expiry or termination occurs during a transfer window

Yes but Prem season finishes 11 May so if Loan goes up to 01 June he wont have any matches after the 11 May so they could cancel from that date. Play offs kick off between 08 and 17 May with final on 24th in theory there are play off games after the Newcastle season has ended
