Not sure how you can blame Tony for this transfer window without being aware of all the facts. Didn't Blackburn say Rhodes wasn't for sale unless a huge offer came in? Who else could we have got that could do the job within a reasonable price range? Does anyone know who we made firm bids for that were turned down?

Why should Tony have to spend millions every window? He backed Harry by buying him one of the best strikers in the league and Matty Phillips, and allowed him to bring in the likes of Kranjcar and BAE in on what I imagine is big wages; he has no obligation to spend any money at all!
Some of our fans have changed a lot in the last few years. Be grateful mate, we could be like Leeds.
I agree With you. By not saying yes to Harry´s every wish, he shows that he cares for us long term.QPR
Best team in the world

He was for sale do not worry about that, we just wouldnt pay what they wanted. Not sure how you can blame Tony for this transfer window without being aware of all the facts. Our chairman is a lovely bloke but very very inexperienced and totally naive when it comes to running a football club. Hes actually starting to come across a bit Walter Mitty to me now, cos he is saying will, spend hundreds of billions on a training ground and stadium, but wouldnt spend one last ten million to make sure we get to the premiership.
It will all look a bit silly talking about all these plans if we become a championship side for the next few years.Comment

Oh and stainrod, im glad you are relieved we lost. Wish i could be, but im not like that, im just totally gutted and in a bad mood.Comment

Stating the obvious but we relied heavily on Austin
After his injury could see it would be downhill, hate to be negative but its the truth
Needed a proven goal scorer and it did not happen in the last window, such a shame as we was on the path to promotion but now cant see it happening
Will be lucky to make play offs tbhComment

Hope you're right...the Prem is not all that. The Champs is a far more competitive and exciting league imo, as this season shows. Will be exciting right to end. Very entertaining!Comment

This league is deffo better, but with our wage bill and vast plans we need at least another year in the top flight to get that money. Otherwise, i honestly fear the worst for our little club if we become a middlesboro type club who the championship will always be our home. We went to large to fast and that could be our downfall. You really shoúldnt wish us another season down, honestly.Comment

It's exciting because your team is in it and involved at the business end of the division. The footballing public would disagree with you. Whenever I watch the FLS, it seems most grounds have thousands and thousands of empty seats.
How many 'exciting' champs games did you go to last season?Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.Comment

Really? I just see big lumps with very little skill booting it into the channels and hoping for the best. Is that entertainment?
As for Kevin's comment, I can never be glad when Rangers lose, it always makes me a bit miserable - I guess I'm just relieved that even fans with the most rose-tinted spectacles now accept the obvious truth that we aren't good enough to go up so discussion on here has become a bit more honest.Comment

We were good enough until our best player and major points getter got injured. Sad fact but true.Comment

It wouldn't worry me if we don't go up this season providing
1. Tony doesn't lose interest
2. We replace Harry who I think will want to go with a young progressive manager
3. We give youth a chance - the likes of Hitchcock, petresso, Harriman and Ehmer need to be given a chance
4. Given the number of players who will be out of contract - we utilise the opportunity in the summer to buy younger players
We will make the play offs and then it's a lottery - an outside chance that Charlie, Phillips and Simpson will all be able to feature for that so certainly not all doom and gloomComment

the fundamental problem is lack of foresight back in the summer.......redknapp should have outed zamora/johnson and added a decent foil ie billy sharp/macormack and young premier league reserve striker ie bamford/kane/ alongside charlie!you know nothing john snow!!!!Comment
