I think your avatar works for me with this. It's not so much that Lewis has a different opinion as the nonsensical stuff he uses to support his myth (sorry notion). Add that to the rantish/rambling manner of his posts and I can understand why so many forum members get antsy with him. There is simply no defending such boorish posts IMHO of course

Why don't you and the others admins and mods do your jobs properly and stop all the bullying when I'm just posting my opinion as it's bang out of order and how would you feel if in my situation?, just posting your opinions about the club you support to get bullied, so all I ask is to you and the others ds and admin do your job! As If I do anything little then I get banned bit others get away with myrder, sort it out!

Not sure what has happened in the past to show such hostility towards this Lewis fella, but i agree with his opening post, up to a point. Green imo was at fault for the goal last night, had he done his job and either caught the ball or punched it better, what followed would never happened.

Green is rightly number 1 and has been very good for the majority of the season. I won't lie though in that I never feel confident when he is in goal. Has the ability to make a wonder save but then messes up minutes later. He is a confidence keeper and let us hope last night does not dent his too much.

Re the Green/Cesar debate. Both good keepers with faults and positives. I await being pushed off the fence.

Sorry but that is another fallacy - his foot speed and reaction is immense and compares to any 'keeper in the top flight. I cannot publish the figures as there are legal issues surrounding the tests that players undergo. But I have seen them (and was party of a group of people that was involved in statistical information collection when 10 (unnamed) internationally acclaimed 'keepers took a series of tests at St George's Park late last year. All done as part of my B licence course for goal keeper coaching.
There's a host of theories on all goal keepers in and around the top leagues in Europe and Green is considered to be fragile in terms of his mental process rather than technical ability - and that goes back before the USA debacle which, by the way, could have happened to anyone given the bobble the ball took. But it doesn't suit those that belittle him to recognise that fact. he is still thought of very highly in terms of his ability but a lot of what goes on inside the FA comes down to character and mental capacity rather than that - even though the general consensus is that you have to be mad to be a goalie anyway

The OP is obviously cheesed off after last night's tripe and let's be honest Green did some shocking punches so he's every right to be fed up but surely there's no need for this level of nastiness is there.... No wonder this site seems to have got much quieter over the last year or so.....

Cut the young scamp some slack, last night was dismal as we were impotent in front of goal so we needed a CS to have any chance of getting anything out of the game....
