The new pitch doesn't drain anywhere near as quickly as the old "Desso" system pitch.

However, given that the new pitch is on a far more solid base than sand, much prefer the new one.

Having said that, spare a thought for the likes of SM who have shipped up from the Isle of Wight with no travel refund :very_sad:
