Kevin Bond admitted the club knew they were far too reliant on Austin. Now he is out - probably for rest of the season - our top scorer playing Saturday will have three goals. We have signed a previously good but out of sorts League One striker and a kid. Am not a fan who expects the board to spend millions and just laughed when some fans kept talking up the chance of Rhodes etc, but now the decision not to go for say Wells for £1.5m odd or the prolific young Scottish striker May or Wickham on loan for instance is hard to understand. If this is it v hard to see us scoring the goals to go up automatically imho.

Totally agree wholeheartedly. Said it earlier, i would rather not have a single one of these players we have aquired this evening for a proven british striker like rhodes or mccormack etc. We were doing fine, we have been dealt a mighty blow, and should of just swapped a like for like and carried on.

Thing that worries me is Harry seems just as deflated and annoyed as all of us! When pressed if he was happy about the signings he made it pretty clear he wasn't over joyed and to me that says enough.

Why not wait and see how they all get on after a few games before feeling deflated.....the hard fact is no one knows how they will fare at QPR......unless they have a crystal ball.

At the end of his interview he said he was off to his hotel? Why never stays in london before a match. Maybe just maybe he is holding one back? Also if he was miffed off about the signing's he made then he would have made one of his media pals know. Also if unhappy with the players signed who chose them?
