Has far more about him than Hitchcock imo. Saying that if he continues to progress as he is I would be more than happy with Austin, Wickham and Hitchcock as 3 of our main strikers. Maybe add an experienced premier league hitman in there if we go up, fantastic.

Wickham has scored goals in the Championship, Premier League and at International level for England U21's.

Hitchcock scored 1 goal in the Championship and a tap in at that. Yet Wickham can score goals like Hitchcock??

He was successful with Ipswich and after moving to Sunderland didn't really impress (1 goal in 33 appearances since 2011). Calm down mate I am not saying Tom is better. All I am saying is that Conor has been given more football games than him to prove himself in the Championship than Tom. Once Tom is given the same chance he can improve.

Our bid accepted last night £4m and no im not saying hes signed but bid accepted anyway.

Talksport reporting this morning that Wickham is on his way back to sheffield wednesday on loan for the rest of the season as sunderland have had no other interest in him.
Oh and sunderland are signing bridcutt from brighton for 4 million today as well. Another we missed out on no doubt.
