The Welsh argument is that they've been playing in English football for a long time, but times change. There wasn't a Welsh assembly then and the people of Wales have since voted for devolved governing powers, among them sport. Wales also has its own premier league, along with its own FA, national stadium, and national team.Originally posted by Shania View PostBut why then are they still playing in England????????????????
There is no reason for Welsh teams to continue to play in English football, apart from the obvious one - money.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
