Fair point well made! to say he's been Rubbish 75% is unjust,your right he certainly wasn't the season we went up he was class there's no doubt about that. but never really cut it in the prem for us but then again we had alot of passengers in the squad robbing a living off the club.i think his attitude is he's biggest negative.the only one way to find out wether he's still got something to offer us is to integrate him back into the squad.he is only 24 after all.shame he went to the ****** Fools though that still niggles.

But it was QPR who decided to loan him to Fulham! And who did perform in the Prem? Green let in five on his debut and was considered such a liability we had to get in another keeper. Onouha is flavour of the month with lots of fans now but he was routinely ripped apart in the Prem. Barton nearly got us relegated with his antics and publicly said he wd never play for us in the Championship but "Joey" can now do no wrong, even when he has a poor game. Did Zamora or Johnson do more to keep us up? Hoillet? SWP, who allegedly showed his professionalism by sticking club fines on his back like it was some big joke? Park? Bosingwa? We were a relegated team with not enough talent and not enough team spirit. And by the way people like Clint Hill and Shaun Derry - whose opinion most fans I think would trust - seem to have far more of an issue with over-the-hill superstars on inflated salaries who Hughes brought in destroying the morale of our promotion team than they do with Adel. Adel frustrated them, sure, but they were always generous enough to admit that he is a special talent who cd do things no one else in the team could. But as Deepcut says history seems to have been re-written.

I am with Van and i'd have him back. For me he would need to get really fit and that means showing a good attitude to training a little like Troare has done of late.

We don't need him in our team at the moment bacause we have Kranjkar in our team, however if he gets injured then i'd want adel over Benyoun any day of the week.

Creative players do serious damage in this division and I think if we lose Niko then we have a serious problem.

Given the choice who would you have Adel or Nico no brainer for me

Real eye opener this thread, christ how things have changed at rangers over the years! we used to love our flair players at one time then you get a thread like this comparing adel to oneil , jesus wept! id have adel back tomorrow because as a rangers fan ive been bought up on slightly flawed sklliful players! Everyone seems to have forgiven joey for which imo were much worse crimes against the club than anything adel has ever done! also a lot of you seem to have forgotten how well adel played at the end of our first season up under hughes, i thought he was one of our best players! So come on lets all stop trying to rewrite history here and give the lad another chance, i think he is worth it!

Because he's selfish and believes his own hype, I suggest you read Warnocks book to discover the real Adel Lazy missed training turned up late on match days, even H.R. Told him after turning up late and 1 & half stone overweight that he has very little chance of playing here this year,

If he came back and made the same contribution he did when we got promoted last time I reckon you'd all forget his behaviour issues pretty quickly.

And if he came back and made no contribution what so ever and just poisoned the dressing room with his bad attitude I think some people would forget they were asking for him to come back pretty quick too.

All I'm saying mate is maybe its not best to relive the past and maybe we should keep moving forward. After all we're not doing to bad are we...
