Remember going to many of the grounds mentioned such as Oxford and Plough Lane for instance.

Have always considered Selhurst Park one of the biggest **** holes i
around in its present form and past form. Stamford Bridge back in the day was shocking.

Sitting in a temporary stand at Blackpool in mid-December in freezing temperatures has to be a real low point as a football fan on my travels

That's just reminded me of Blackpool pre re-development. Anyone remember that stand behind the goal, about a mile from the pitch they used to sling the away fans in? Jesus it was like something from the 1920's!

Oi... I had one of the best away days there. Think we won 3-1 (it was a win either way) when in that stand and then a message came out over the tannoy: 'To all QPR fans, your coaches will be parked at the back of your stand after the game.' To which about 1500 Rangers broke out into 'We're not going home!' It went on for ages!

Langley scored a hat trick the year we were in there I think.

Had a top weekend up there but seriously, that stand was shocking. Was glad our group was on the terrace, cos I wouldn't have fancied sitting in that wooden upper tier.

              Kenilworth Road is a khazi.
Worst for me though was Chesterfield's old ground, Saltergate.

Remember going there as a young un a few years back when I think we won 4-1, remember Richard Pacquette scored a couple. Was one of the single coldest days of my life. That and Blackpool away when they had that temp stand.

Wow - a few in our three years in the third tier at the turn of the century.

                    Saltergate - rain, wind, freezing.
Layer Road - last game of the season before the play offs - dangerously overcrowded on a terrace three steps deep behind the goal

Blundell Park - League Cup game we won on pens and Eric Sabin's goal in the FA Cup - never been so cold

Withdean - when they changed the away end to that little stand behind the high jump pit approximately 2 miles behind the goal.

Boundary Park before it was redeveloped was a shocker
