Seems to be taking a long time to recover from the Achilles injury, or is now fit but can't quite get back into the first team. Always liked him, and we nearly bought him back when the tango an cash were selling the club (remember the Barry fry rant?). 29, plenty of pace and a different kind of striker to Charlie so they would work well together. Maybe he's out of favour?

At the same time, Zamora enjoyed hero status when he was at Brighton, and in a kind of Kevin Philips way it might prove to be an ideal retirement club for him as an experienced late sub option.

So some kind of exchange seems an interesting idea? And keep the replies respectful instead of the usual superior put downs that I see far too often.
