Out of curiosity what was the problem with the first half that people complained about as it was not actually that bad from us there have been whole 90mins this season which have outdone yesterdays first half.

It was end to end and Ipswich broke on us three times and should have made more of it but that was because we were actually getting numbers forward for a change. We had our chances first half too and played some decent stuff in the business end of the pitch instead of the half way line. Just because it was nil nil does not mean we played poor because we did not

Goal line scramble we should have scored from, Austin through one on one, ball across six yard box missed by mm by firstly Austin then O'Neill world class save pulled off from their keeper from point blank header from Austin; that was all in the first half. Some fans need to have realistic expectations

Absolutely West. You can't go away to places like Ipswich and just go at the opposition. I thought we controlled the game well and still got forward when we had the opportunity. Which is the best way to play a team like Ipswich on their own turf.

                This.
I watched the game on a stream and loved every minute of it (including the 1st half). It was a fast high tempo match right up until the final whistle.

There was a thread on here a while ago about someone who's got a season ticket, and there's a fella who sits behind him and he is constantly moaning throughout the game, no matter how we play he moans. I think that was the case yesterday. Unfortunately some people are never happy and will always find a negative.

Spot on mate you get 90mins to win a game it does not have to be put to bed by half time; great if it is but not the end of the world if its not

When they walked off at Half time I thought were well in this game as we were creating opportunities where as the rest of the season I think if we don't concede we will nick a point. Yesterdays first half is what you would want from an away side playing against a promotion contender keep it tight and ensure your still in the game second half

I thought we played well in both halves, but obviously better in the second! Mick McCarthy saying he thought Ipswich were better and in-control in the first half aint quite true. It was open and both sides had great chances to score. I didn't feel nervous when they attacked unlike watching Leicester, Forest, Burnley etc.

Only time I felt nervous was that goal mouth scramble in the first half. Other than that Green wasnt tested.

Better first half than most, but I was despondent when Joey came off. Especially by him being replaced by Henry ..... Tbh it was a fifty fifty game until we scored then it was game over. Brilliant result (and being eight points off the top we really needed it), but all our problems have not been solved over night. The result, however, gives us a big, big boost. Players looked top of the world when we scored and at the end. Here's hoping we put a run together.

I think the team are looking better game by game, more organised now, and starting to move the ball faster. Harry's staff have done wonders in turning us round so quick from where we were.
