Hi all, new to this forum and first ever post here, so hope this rumour is not complete nonsense...........Few rumours on twitter and across the internet that Yakubu has been seen in W12 today and is apparently close to signing.......If this is true, i really am not sure, would like us to sign someone young, hungry and actually fit.......seems to me like we're not learning our lessons........as i said prior this is just a rumour!

I think facto started this one as a joke and someones repeated it on twitter. Look, clink the link, hes only mentioned five times and just by normal bods and thats it, and all mentions are after factos thread.

Was absolutely brilliant at Leicester in our promotion season and "only 31". If he was in on a six month deal I'd have him in a heartbeat . We need to change our transfer policy for the future but if it's for the here and now then I don't think there are many better realistic options to look at . Would score goals 100%Comment

He's not that old mate . 31 isn't a great age especially if it was a loan or short term deal to get us over the line . Was mustard at Leicester at this level . Just don't think there are many better short term options . People hanging onto hope of this Defoe loan are kidding themselves . The yaks a natural goalscorer and as strong as an ox , Christ I sound like his agent ! I'd take him though if the deal was right for usComment
