I disagree. As much as i would have loved him to have stayed, he's clearly established himself as a future england star, got himself a cap and played nearly 50 games in the prem for a top 6 team. Dont think we could have made him a bigger name then he is now. Also the difference between sterling and zaha is that nobody knew who zaha was at 15 where as sterling was playing for our u18's/reserves and england schoolboys. Sterling was highly sought after and was still on a youth contract, palace probably had no offers for zaha until he had signed pro terms. And i'm pretty sure every club in this league would take sterling on loan too!Last edited by Hove Ranger; 08-01-2014, 12:46 AM.

…here’s some of the thoughts he’s been posting on his Facebook status recently…
Ricky: I WISH I WAS 16 AGAIN SO I COULD CHANGE SOME OF THE DECISION I MADE ESPECIALLY THE BAD FOOTBALL 1′S I MADE
Ricky: dis place is killing my career ****** hell fam
And finally, here’s an astute conversation between our future number 9 and his pal;
Joe Weston: LOL so just joining Leicester was a bad football decision?
Ricky: take a wild guest
