  • Onyewu heading for exit

Oguchi Onyewu is poised to leave Loftus Road when his contract expires later this month.

The towering defender signed a short-term deal back in October as cover for the injured Nedum Onuoha, but has failed to make a single appearance for the R's: http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport...-exit-6470885?

First chevanton now this guy, Who is choosing to sign these people who we pay just to train with us. Another piece of poor management as both players were experienced players who we should have known before signing how good they were or were not!

In fairness he was signed- short term- when we only had two fit centre backs with a combined age of 64. It was probably a prudent move now we have three fit centre backs plus the NI youngster....

Signed purely for cover while Nedum was out, which is something we needed to do.

Chevanton on the other hand was a bit of a head scratcher. Not sure why he never got a chance.

He was signed as cover when ned was injured and we had no other fit centre backs. Sensible move, he was on the bench several times which is exactly what he was signed for.

It seems that some on here constantly want to find the worst in every situation.

              beggars belief!

Signed as cover did exactly that now he's not needed it's time for him to go. Chevanton on the other hand was unlucky i though he looked sharpe in the limited time he played. We were suffering so many injuries in midfield at the time we were using up our subs just covering that

Just needed bodies in for cover as simple as that , i would have kept Ehmer as i never felt the American was up to it , but you have to have numbers to cover positions even if you dont really want to use them.
