According to an article on NewsNowQPR,Harry is hoping that Toronto get the green light and sign Defoe.Then he wants to step in and loan him for just two months until the season starts in Canada in March.

I would rather have him here for the rest of the season or even better longer, but IMHO two months is better than nothing, he could score some very vital goals.

... as long as we get 1 or 2 in permanently as well, not a bad bit of business IMO.

Agree Nick.Our season goes on another two months beyond March,so I think two other strikers are vital if we are to push for promotion.

Is there some kind of rule somewhere that says anyone we sign this window must have previously played for Harry? we seemed to be constantly linked to his old players. Get some youngsters in with something to prove.

I agree we do always seem to have a connection with Harry's old player's and I would like to see some youngsters come in with a bit hunger in them, but there is no denying Defoe would be great to have here even if it is for only a couple of months.

We got a youngster with something to prove with Carroll , most of you lot on here want him gone.

All three would add something to the squad.

Yer all 3 of them Norths and they wouldnt want huge inflated wages either. Still i reckon Wells will end up at Wigan and Ince probably Prem bound.

Good shout bush, also Joe ledley who is out of contract this summer. Would be difficult to get them in but gotta be worth a try and convince them we are a team looking to progress.

If Defoe feels he has any chance of making the world cup squad then he has to stay in this country, which i think he will do.

Didn't hear it, what did he have to say for himself? Talk about a promising talent that just fizzled out.
