i have only left early once in my life and that was when I had to be some where more important and left 15 minutes early.

Some will scoff at that but sometimes there are more important things in life than football.

Must admit I did when the ball went out down the School End and heard the roar as I was having a **** downstairs though I did see the goal on the TV in the concourse so I guess I can just about still claim to have been there when we scored

A few passed me in the school end on their way out. I said to them "ye of no faith" one replied "I want to get home for a hot shower"
Fair enough he was soaked, so was I, however I stayed and the money I paid for my ticket was worth it!!

Did it once at Derby (2-2 the season we went up) because my mates old man was driving and he was in a right strop with the result at the time. Was dancing in the street with the David Dickenson look-a-like as we got back to the car when we found out it was 2-2. First time I've done it was then and never again will that happen.

Yesterday my brother said about leaving early to miss the traffic and I firmly said aloud "I'm not going yet as I don't want to miss out winning goal." Too much delight by all around me, I was spot on.
