I think he would be a gamble myself. He's not prolific but does bring the other side of a strikers game to the table. But would that produce significantly more chances for us? If we sign him and another quick young striker Wells maybe then ok, but him on his own?, not sure it'll strengthen us enough up front.Comment

Tough call. I would like to see future planning going on, someone who can do it for us now and has the potential to hold their own in the Prem if we get there. That said, the Jan window is never a buyer's market and you take what you can live with for now, so Cole fits the bill in that respect. Wouldn't throw my toys if we got him.Comment

Yet another player that is past it!!!
With Dunne, Krajaer, Benyone, Henry, oneil, jenas, we just seem to sign players all the time that have had their career.
The biggest problem we have had this year is the same as last year and that is not signing any youngsters. We have Zamora and Johnson we really don;t want Carlton Cole as well.....
