As someone who reads this forum often, I think it is now time for this forum to welcome Marshy back and learn to respect his views instead of always being abusive to him.
I find Marshy has often conducted himself with great constraint and maturity, even when he has been called vicious things, he has seldom reciprocated, in fact, I don't think I have ever seen Marshy even swearing at anyone. So why is this person derided? Is it because he thinks he knows more than the average punter? Well to be honest, he does seem to know more than most, he said Harry would take us down when everyone here was worshipping Harry as a messiah, and Harry took us down. He said Harry won't take us back up, and now it seems a real possibility we might not go up. He said Leeds will go up as Champions, everyone laughed at him, now look at which club is moving up the table and seems to have found their form.
I think this forum loses out when we ban people who have different views of the game. Marshy seems very old school, someone who has been around the block many times and someone who doesn't listen to the rubbish people like Shearer, Hansen, Savage, Jamie Redknapp etc says, but someone who comes to opinions based on years of following the game. This is a critical year for this club, and I think it is vitally important that we allow the likes of Marshy's opinion to be heard because often it is people like Marshy who can point out the things wrong at a club early on and hopefully if enough fans see this then we can voice our opinion and get them fixed before it is too late.
