Traore would offer more offensively and is our player. It'll happen soon anyway wait and see.

Which goals has he cost us at left back?????? Name them. The answer is one. Against West Brom away. The only left back to cost us a goal this season was Traore against Weds. There are good reasons not to play Clint at left back (he hates playing left back, but will play where asked), but costing us goals isn't one. Get your facts right before posting. Of all the dross in our team and some muppets pick on Clint. FFS.Originally posted by Greengrass View PostNo way in a million years can you play hill at LB again. He's cost us too many goals there, and has said he doesn't want to really play there

Whether Hill likes playing there or not he is awful at LB. Watch the games he plays there, he plays very narrow, gets caught very square when faced with a winger and offers very little going forward. Bigger problem is centre half where Hill and Dunn are solid but sit so deep it affects our whole play going forward, need to bring back Ned ASAP.

These are the reasons not to play Clint at left back. Not sh1t that he's cost us loads of goals. Clint and Ned should be the centre back pairing on Sunday.Originally posted by rickyranger View PostWhether Hill likes playing there or not he is awful at LB. Hill and Dunne need to sit so deep because they have no pace to play further up the pitch.Originally posted by rickyranger View PostWhether Hill likes playing there or not he is awful at LB. Onouha is quicker and if he was in the side perhaps the defence would not need to sit so deep.
Perhaps signing a faster CB and at least 1 new striker in early January should be made a priority for the club.

I would have agreed with you but now less sure. He didn't put in a tackle for the cross that led to the first goal and did the same again for another cross that could easily have led to another goal. All the skill in the world but what's it worth if he doesn't want to play.Originally posted by stanistheman View PostBAE is a soild full back who performs his defensive duties well.
Yes he often offers little in atttack, but perhaps playing alongside Hoilett who is nearly always looking to cut inside to shoot with his right foot, doesn't help.

2 Weeks ago: We are ****ed when Spurs call BAE back. He is a class act and far too good for the championship. Cant believe another premier league club didn't come in for him.
Yesterday: What a liability! cant defend, cant attack, zero crosses, what use is all the fancy stuff he does in his own half, send em back to Spurs!

Eh?? You surely mean Simpson re not putting a tackle in for the cross for the first goal as it was his man -ie the Forest left winger that crossed the ball. Unless you are honestly blaming a left back for not running the width of the pitch to tackle a left winger who our right back should deal with. Which is basically wrong.Originally posted by stainrodisalegend View PostI would have agreed with you but now less sure.
