Im actually thinking about the fifa rule in that a player can't be transferred more than twice in any 12month period.

Would love him to go to Newcastle then watch them slide down the table.

I think the rule is more than 2 clubs in a 12 month period. As anzhi is the club who sold him to us and then took him back, i dont think his transfer back to anzhi counts as they were the team that sold him to us. also the transfer wont take place until the jan window and 12 months will have passed from his transfer to us, by the time it comes around.

Something that i am suspicious of is whether samba's transfer to us was exactly how it was portrayed in the media by tony et al. (club record fee!!) Why did anzhi take him back so readily for the inflated price and wages that we paid for him, just to sell him again 6 months later? and why did he go back when his reasons to come to us were not money but homesickness? which is again the apparent reason he's looking to move in jan.

I believe he only signed for us on loan with an agreed fee if we stayed up. We failed miserably and he was sent back

God yeah. That, following Villa, extinguished all hope of staying up. Naturally we had all denied we were doomed from Swansea at home.....

Iv said it before the best thing that ever happened to this club was us getting relegated.
I don't think as many of the unwanted players would have left had we stayed up. Since coming down the club has wiped the slate clean and rebuilt the hole squad.
If/when we go up I feel we will be completely prepared to play in the toughest league in the world.
                        SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!
