It's quite simple really. You can choose to pay well over the odds for a pint or go somewhere else. Who'd be willing to pay an extra couple of quid for a pint just because the pub is in the bush? I wouldn't.

It's hardly surprising pubs in the area are closing. Have you seen the locals? It's like downtown Mogadishu!

Sad but true Richard. Walking down Uxbridge Road from The Conningham back to the Bush on Saturday every other shop/restaurant you walk past seems to be in arabic signage now...
