    Austin

How Charlie Austin didn't score today I don't know. Very lucky the two clear cut chances he had (free header & 1 on 1) didn't cost us the result. Not knocking him because I think Harry is asking a lot of him & he has played well in most games.

He had a poor game today, which took the edge off our performance. Up front still a problem for us. Can't fault his effort thought, but he won nothing in the air and looked well off the pace of the game. His is a thankless task at the moment.

Didn't win much in the air but was VERY windy which those in sheltered seats don't appreciate.

But really should have done better with at least 1 of his 2 big chances.

          IMO

Only at qpr could our only fully fit centre forward be slated. the man gets next to no service and runs his nuts off every single game. Who did Grant save from for our first goal? Give the boy a break as we need him badly as we are not spoilt for choice uo top.

Totally out on his feet by the end of the game, worked his nuts off and by the time he got some clear cut chances it was as much as he could do to stand up.

Hopefully AJ will play off of him at Reading.

Spot on both Austin and Phillips looked shot with 10 mins to go makes me wonder why Harry didn't get some fresh legs on just to try and close the game out.

He tries his best but there's no service, only time he receives the ball is when a long ball comes in and he has to hold it and occasionally drops deep to get involved more. Need kranjcar back to create that link between him and the rest of the team. I'd be tempted to try Diakite playing off Austin, but i know Harry wouldn't, as well as 99% of you lot!

With Matty making great strides and yet to see Hoilett hit form it won't be long before Austin finds plenty of space to do what he does best.

We used two subs yesterday, Henry and Traore. We weren't chasing the game so perhaps it was best to have an option if anything had happened to Green.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Excellent centre forward. Thankful task up front alone with no one to play off of. Has to make all the runs, 90% of the time trying to receive a bad ball or over his head or what not all the time using energy. Always got 2 defenders on his case yet is always in an around the danger zone meaning more goals will come. Never ever moans or sulks just gets his head down & grafts. Love the geezer.

Austin staying fit will score 25 goals all competitions this season easy, what is the issue? We pack the midfield when we are not winning and play our wingers higher up the pitch when we are to stretch the opposition. When the wingers play well Austin's service is better, we've the best midfield in this league, if Austin isn't recieving good service look at them not Austin.
