Here we go - alluding to the "sad day for WATRB thread - is it any wonder people don't post here any more.
The Lurker is a Spurs fan but has never said anything derogatory or abusive about Rangers.
Also happens to be female - but if you read what she's posted in her time here she actually has a very sound knowledge of the game, her Club and Nico K. She openly admits to being an admirer of the player, but not only from a stereotypical girlie fan perspective. Funny thing is when the Lurker first posted a thread about Nico many people didn't read the full content (esp the bit about her being female) and thanked her for the perspective on our new player. People knew she was a Spurs fan and didn't abuse her for it because the post was sound, knowledgeable, constructive and informative. All of a sudden, all those attributes have apparently disappeared because one or two of you finally woke up and realised she was a woman. Cue the stereotyping and (what you would call) harmless banter. It's not in this case guys - you have a female displaying a good sound knowledge of the game where she was able to engage with people here on a level footing but all of a sudden things have changed.
It proves a point and also it's easy to see who is the better human being in this instance.
Nothing to do with politics, liberalism or any other garbage, just clear evidence that some people just can't deal with reality
