    Oguchi Onyewu.

Apparently training with us, most likely the reason the Lithuania has gone to Leeds. Big (6'5") American centre half played for some good sides including Newcastle for a short spell, Milan etc. Had a lot of injuries but would be a very good signing on short term deal or longer if fit. Real monster have a look.

Would be a very decent signing if fit, unfortunately he has only played 20 odd games in the last 4 seasons after a pretty bad knee injury. I suppose some sort of pay as you play arrangement might make sense. Who's your source on this one Ricky?

We need to sign someone who will satisfied to be a bench warmer.Which is more than likely why the Lithuanian didn't sign. Therefore Onyewu sounds ok.

He was shown on some coverage of our training sessions, think it was on sky I will try to find a link but not the best at that sort of thing.

I'm not even sure the Lithuanian was ever offered a deal by us!

The guy is really good, nothing to do with his "reputation", he really is good
              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
              And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

He's known as Gooch among his fans, that may be a bit easier for you to get your tongue around....

Fully intended. I wonder if it'll leave a sour after-taste.
