What a depressing way to think. I get stick for being wishy-washy on here, but I am so pleased that my mind doesn't even come close to being that lacking in empathy.

Hoping for a career-threatening injury to a young lad, just because you don't rate him, is just plain nasty.

So 'technically' you must be worried sick about Park picking up some sort of injury?

Get a life mate, can't believe as a football fan you wish a player to have picked up a major injury because YOU don't rate him. HR saw enough in Carrol to take him on loan, just like he did Townsend, who hadn't set the world alight at his other 8 loan clubs but how is he doing now ?

It's not because i don't rate him. From what i have seen he isn't good enough and we have much better options than him. He is lightweight, an average tackler, only passes backwards, loses a lot of posession. These aren't things we need when we are trying to get automatic promotion. I am sure he will be a future talent, but I want to see players playing on merit, not because of the conditions of a loan agreement, and if him being injured is the only way of us fielding our best team then as much as i feel sorry for the kid, i am happy we don;t have to play a player because of an agreement we have with another club.

                    This agreement is absolute tosh.

Yer well put. Think the lad will go on to become a good player but just a bit lightweight for the Championship at the moment. We are not Spurs B team. If they want to develop the player and give him more games then why should we be forced to play him if he is not up to it? A lot of difference between Townsend's impact and young Tom's.

So it is because you don't rate him. And also because you believe there is a clause which says he has to play. (Wasn't he left of the next starting XI after his first game?

If you did rate him would it be a different matter?

Also none of that excuses wishing a long term injury on another person IMO

Unless he plays for the Scum or Fulham or is a bit of a woofter.

to be honest it is a bit of both. If i thought he deserved to play week in/week out on merit it would be a non-issue for me. But when i think we aren't playing with our strongest starting 11 it becomes an issue for me

Redknapp said he's out for a few weeks. Not months

                                Carroll not playing.

                                2 goals conceded.
