    Carroll injury concern for QPR

Gareth Southgate has been forced into making his first change. Tom Carroll, the Tottenham midfielder on loan at QPR, has come off injured . Anyone know any more ?

F**king awful challenge from behind, studs into the achilles area. He got up and tried to run it off, but they made the change after a few minutes.

He wasn't limping too badly when he came off, fingers crossed it isn't too bad.

May be a blessing in disguise for this Saturday though. Would rather see Henry start, Millwall away may be too much for Carroll. Wish him a speedy recovery though.

Might have to get an emergency loan in or have we got enough cover in midfield?

Jenas, Henry, SWP... I'd say we've got enough cover.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

As long as Dunne and Kranjcar are ok... Surely Faurlin would would fit in best in Carrol's position.

I hope he is out for at least 9 months

Will he go back to Tottenham?

He's tweeted: “Gutted to have come off early tonight, hopefully it’s not too bad! #fatankle.”

                        Do you really support Rangers?

Strap his ankle up, wipe his nose, give him a dab of sulphate, and get him in the gym bulking up whilst he can't kick a ball. Also, get some headphones on him repeating the phrase: "I can pass forwards....."

Yes, but he is only starts because harry agreed with Spuds that he will start the majority of games. You can't seriously say that his influence on the pitch has been positive.

How do you get from there to hoping for a 9 month (and therefore likely career-threatening injury) to a young player?

Also, do you have any reason to believe he has such a clause in the loan contract?
