Bit of transfer gossip from source inside club..

Dunno if said or anyone's heard of this and i aint gona say to many details about how i found out in case the source gets rollocking!

    But...

Out for a meal the other night and got talking to a guy who does work as a qpr community coach and his words to me were...

''Dont tell no-one (haha) but word in the club is if were clear at the top by january then defoe to rangers is already a done deal''
defoe wants to make sure his on the plane for the world cup and playing regularly.

Personally i think even if defoe doesnt arrive in January, we will get him in the summer after promotion!!

Listening to Glenn Hoddle if he gets his way Defoe won't be going to the world cup. He just wants to blood youngsters ready for the Euros

Probably 1 of the most underestimated players in the top flight.
I know he's spurs & turned us down in the past, but he's a good striker.
        SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

AVB doesn't agree though Mellow. Not that I'm using that to add weight to the suggestion that he's Rangers bound.

                As you said, outstanding player
                Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

If the club is miles clear at the top then that would be due to the young strike force at the club having delivered so why would the club then kick them aside in favour of a 31 year old whose form is patchy at best

I would say his form is better than patchy. His appearances for Spurs are patchy. I do agree though that we should stick with the strike force that would have got us to a position where we become an attractive proposition for Defoe.

Either he wants to come or he doesn't. If he does then shut up and sign, if not shut up and **** off.
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

                        2015/2016, average at best.....

                        2016/2017, same old, same old....

                        2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

On his day he is one of the best strikers in the PL and would like to see him smash some goals for us to help us get promoted but he is not a signig to build a future on.

Would prefer to be in a position in January where we could prise Jordan Rhodes from Blackburn.
