    they certainly don't rate foolham
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

Oooh ... I can join in with this one!

Absolutely can't stand the bloke. Hated him as a player (good goalscorer, but a sneaky, dirty barsteward). Hate him even more as a manager. Full of attitude & a totally charmless man!

Can't wait for his sack day. It will be his last day of managing a football team.

unfortunately, when he is sacked, he'll get another few million quid compensation for being a loser, to go on top of the money we're still paying him.

I thought we only paid him until he got another job.

TF said we were paying him off the rest of his contract on a monthly basis, unless I've misunderstood this

You could be right, but my understanding was that TF was indeed paying Hughes on a monthly basis, but once he got the Stoke job his QPR contract was thus at an end and no more money was due.

                        Hope this is true.

I know this is what happened with Warnock because he said so.

I think this is correct...not that i know the inner workings of football. But you do hear of sacked managers unable to take a new job straight away because they have to negotiate
a pay off with their previous club

either way, it's scandalous that such a hopeless loser keeps getting employed on multi million pound contracts, despite leaving a trail of shocking results behind him.
He's obviously the clever one, not us!!
